GREATER NORWICH LOCAL PLAN REGUALTION 19 CONSULTATION

The Greater Norwich Local Plan is out for consultation between the 1st February 2021 and the 15th March 2021.

This document provides the “blueprint” for new housing and employment sites development from 2022 right through till 2038. As such the Plan allocated an number of housing and employment sites which will be built on to create further sustainable new communities between now and 2038.

The Plan identifies sites which can deliver around 49,500 new homes to be delivered as part of Government proposals to increase sustainable housing development.

We would be very pleased to hear from any landowners whose site has been:-

  1. Selected as a draft allocation within the Regulation 19 Plan and would like further assistance in promoting the site further or are looking at options to sell their land to a Housing Developer who have an interest in a site of that size. We are uniquely placed to assist with that process through our intricate LOCAL MARKET knowledge and those developers seeking sites of various sizes to suit their business model.
  2. Land which was not selected for the Plan or defined as a “Reasonable Alternative”. This may not be “the end of the road”. This is because we still have options for these sites and specifically third party Land Promoters who will work alongside landowners (at no financial risk to landowners) to take on these opportunities and then submit Planning Applications and seek to secure planning permission when the Councils are under-delivering on their allocated sites, or other opportunities which arise through the duration of the Local Plan to secure these permissions.

Securing planning permissions on land is a complex and costly process. However we can take the strain out of this process by listening to your requirements as landowners and seeking the correct solutions based upon your individual circumstances.

We have already secured allocations for landowners in the new GNLP through our market knowledge and ability to place the right sites with the right developers or promoters.
